If you are planning to study in a teacher preparation program for your junior or senior year at a Connecticut college or university, you may be eligible for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program. If you are in a college teacher preparation program in the state of Connecticut, you may be eligible for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program. The Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program provides up to $5,000 a year for two years of full-time study in a teacher preparation program during the junior or senior year at a Connecticut college or university. Applicants for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program must be African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American or Native American heritage and be nominated by the Dean of Education. Applicants for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant must also be enrolled or expect to be enrolled full-time at a four-year institution or university. The North Dakota State Student Incentive Grant Program (SSIG) provides grants to North Dakota residents pursuing their undergraduate degree at a North Dakota public, private and tribal college. The purpose of this grant is to assist students with their cost of attending a North Dakota post-secondary institution. New Mexico Student Incentive Grant

If you are attending a public college or university in New Mexico and have substantial financial need, you may be eligible for the New Mexico Student Incentive Grant. The New Mexico Student Incentive Grant provides aid to students who are attending the following colleges and universities in New Mexico:

College of Santa Fe
St. John’s College
College of the Southwest
Institute of American Indian Art
Crownpoint Institute of Technology
Dine College
Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute

The award of the New Mexico Student Incentive Grant varies from $200 to $2,500 per year and you must be a U.S. citizen, a New Mexico resident, an undergraduate enrolled at least half time and demonstrate financial need to qualify. The New Hampshire Incentive program provides assistance to New Hampshire students attending eligible institutions in New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont). In order to qualify for the New Hampshire Incentive Program, you must be a New Hampshire resident and demonstrate financial need. You must attend an eligible New England institution, and if an upper-class applicant, you must have a grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 basis and meet satisfactory academic progress as determined by the institution.
