If you are a South Carolina resident, you may be eligible for the South Carolina LIFE Scholarship. The Legislative Initiatives for Future Excellence (LIFE) program was designed to help South Carolina residents achieve a higher education. In order to be eligible for the South Carolina LIFE Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Students must earn at least a 3.0 GPA
- Students must rank in the top 30 percent of their graduating class
- Students must score at least 1100 on the SAT test
- Students must be South Carolina residents at the time of college enrollment
- Students must NOT be recipients of the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship, the South Carolina Hope Scholarship, or the Lottery Tuition Assistance within the same calendar year.
