If you are a resident of Rhode Island, you may be eligible for the Rhode Island State Grant Program. The Rhode Island State Grant Program is available to Rhode Island students who’s family resources are not sufficient to meet the costs of higher education. Applicants for the Rhode Island State Grant Program must fill out an FAFSA to qualify. In addition, in order to qualify for the Rhode Island State Grant, a student must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Rhode Island and be attending school at least half-time.
