If you are a resident of Rhode Island, you may be eligible for the Rhode Island Academic Promise Scholarship. You must be a high school senior who is planning on enrolling in a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis. The student must also show academic promise, and be able to demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the Rhode Island Academic Promise Scholarship. The Rhode Island Academic Promise Scholarship can award a student up to $2,500 per year, and is based upon a formula that takes into account financial need and ACT / SAT score.
