If you are a student (or former student) who teaches at a grade level that is deemed as a teacher shortage area, you may be eligible for the North Dakota Teacher Shortage Loan Forgiveness Program. The Teacher Scholarship Shortage Loan Forgiveness Program will reduce student loan indebtedness by up to $1,000 per year (with a maximum of $3,000). The number of annual loan reductions depends on the current legislative appropriations.
