New Jersey Special Needs Grant Program
If you are a New Jersey resident and you are visually impaired, auditorily impaired or learning disabled, you may qualify for the New Jersey Special Needs Grant Program. Currently there are seven centers located throughout New Jersey that assist with special needs students:
- The Center for Collegiate Deaf Education at Bergen Community College assists students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
- There are five regional centers in New Jersey that help with learning disabled students: Project Assist at Cumberland County College, The Regional Center at Farleigh Dickinson University, Central Regional Connections at Middlesex County College, Project Mentor at New Jersey City University and Project Academic Skills Support at Ocean County College.
- The Adaptive Technology Center for New Jersey Colleges at the College of New Jersey serves all three disabilites.
