If you are a resident of Montana and have been accepted by or are enrolled in an eligible Montana post-secondary institution, you may be eligible for the Montana Governor’s Best and Brightest Scholarship. The purpose of the Governor’s Best and Brightest Scholarship is to provide Montana residents with greater access to Montana’s post-secondary institutions. The Governor’s Best scholarships are based on both financial need and merit. For scholarships based on financial need, you must complete an FAFSA. For scholarships based on merit, you must have a high school GPA of at least 3.0 or a score of at least 20 on the ACT or 1440 on the SAT college admission test.
