Are you a high school student in Houston, Texas? If so, you may be eligible for a variety of different grants and scholarships provided by the Houston Endowment – a philanthropy endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Jesse H. Jones. Since its inception, the Jesse H. Jones and Mary Gibbs Jones Scholarship Program has provided nearly $77 million in scholarships to 9,858 Houston-area graduating high school seniors. Each recipient of the scholarship receives $16,000 paid over four years to support their undergraduate studies at the college or university of their choice. The scholarship now supports all school districts within Harris County.
