If you are a resident of Georgia who is maintaining a good military standing as an eligible member of the Georgia National Guard and you are enrolled either half-time or full-time in an undergraduate degree program at an eligible college, university or technical school within the state of Georgia, you may be eligible for a forgivable loan award. The applicant or parent must have Air Force National Guard or Army National Guard experience, be retired from active duty, be disabled or killed as a result of military service, be a prisoner of war, or be missing in action to be eligible.
