If you are are a California resident who is not a recent high school graduate who is attending an approved college or university within the state, you may be eligible for the Competitive Cal Grant A. In order to qualify for the Competitive Cal Grant A., a student must demonstrate financial need and meet a minimum 3.0 GPA requirement. The applicant for the Cal Competitive Grant must be enrolled or expecting enrollment in a full-time or part-time California institution or university.
