Florida José Martí Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund

If you are a student in Florida of Hispanic origin, you may be eligible for the Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund. The Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund is available for Florida public or eligible private institutions. Applicants for the Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund must apply during their senior year of high school. Graduate students may apply as well, but priority is given to high school seniors. The number of awards given by the Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant fund depends on the amount of contributions from private sources and funds appropriated by the Florida legislature. The Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund is a need-based merit scholarship. If you are a Wisconsin resident who is African-American, Native-American, Hispanic, or a former citizen of Laos, Vietnam or Cambodia, you may be eligible for the Wisconsin Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant. You must be enrolled at least half-time in either Wisconsin Technical College System schools, non-profit independent colleges and universities, or tribal colleges. Idaho Minority and “At Risk” Student Scholarship

If you are an Idaho resident who is disabled or a member of a minority group and have financial need you may be eligible for the Idaho Minority and “At Risk” Student Scholarship. The Idaho Minority and “At Risk” Student Scholarship is available to graduates of Idaho high schools, and is only valid if the student attends one of eight post-secondary institutions in the state of Idaho. Applicants must be American Indian / Alaskan Native, Black (non-Hispanic), or Hispanic. Applicant must be hearing impaired, physically disabled , or visually impaired. Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program

If you are in a college teacher preparation program in the state of Connecticut, you may be eligible for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program. The Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program provides up to $5,000 a year for two years of full-time study in a teacher preparation program during the junior or senior year at a Connecticut college or university. Applicants for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Program must be African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American or Native American heritage and be nominated by the Dean of Education. Applicants for the Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant must also be enrolled or expect to be enrolled full-time at a four-year institution or university.
