If you are a resident of South Dakota and you are a junior in college, you may be eligible for the South Dakota Marlin R. Scarborough Memorial Scholarship. The South Dakota Marlin R. Scarborough Memorial Scholarship is given to a South Dakota junior in college at a South Dakota public university. Each South Dakota public university nominates a candidate for the Marlin R. The South Dakota Annis Irene Fowler/Kaden Scholarship is available to first-time entering freshmen who attend BHSU, DSU, NSU or USD and select elementary education as their field of study. Special consideration is given to students who demonstrate motivation, have a disability or who are self-supporting.
