Nebraska State Grant (NSG)

If you are a Nebraska resident who is attending a Nebraska post-secondary institution you may be eligible for the Nebraska State Grant (NSG). You must also be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant to qualify. The Nebraska State Grant is awarded through the post-secondary institutions within Nebraska. So, you must apply to the school in order to be considered for the grant. All of the schools require that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is available from your high school counselor, or online. Some schools may require an application as well. Nebraska Access College Early Scholarship Program

If you are a high school student in Nebraska, you may qualify for the Nebraska Access College Early Scholarship Program. The Nebraska Access College Early (ACE) Scholarship Program pays tuition and mandatory fees for qualified, low-income high school students to enroll in college courses from Nebraska’s colleges or universities. In order to qualify, a student must be eligible to receive assistance under a variety of federal government programs or the student and his or her family must have experienced a recent hardship.
