			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are a resident of Michigan and you are the natural or adopted child of a Michigan veteran, you may be eligible for the Michigan Children of Veterans Tuition Grant Program.  In order to be eligible for the Michigan Children of Veterans Tuition Grant Program, the parent veteran must have been a legal resident of Michigan immediately before entering military service and did not later reside outside of Michigan for more than two years.  A student may be eligible for the Michigan Children of Veterans Tuition Grant Program if the parent veteran established legal residency in Michigan after entering military service.  The parent must meet one or more of the following requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>General military experience</li>
<li>Retired from active duty</li>
<li>Disabled or killed as a result of military service</li>
<li>Prisoner of war</li>
<li>Missing in action</li>
</ul>
