California Grants for College – Cal Grants

Are you going to college in California?  If so, you will certainly want to look int Cal Grants – one of the smartest ways to fund your college experience.  Cal grants are a great way to pay for your college education because you don’t have to pay them back!  In order to qualify for a Cal Grant you have to fit the following criteria:

  • You must be a U.S. citizen
  • You must be a California resident
  • You must attend a qualifying California college
  • You must have financial need based on your college costs
  • You must have family income and assets below the established ceilings
  • You must be in a program leading to an undergraduate degree or certificate
  • You must be enrolled at least half time
