If you are a student in Iowa, you may be eligible for the All Iowa Opportunity Scholarship in Iowa. The All Iowa Opportunity Scholarship (AIOS) is a state-funded program that provides scholarships to students who do well and demonstrate financial need. The AIOS is a one-year scholarship for recipients attending private or Regent universities. The AIOS can be received for two subsequent years if recipients attend an Iowa community college both years. Also, students attending eligible Iowa colleges and Universities may receive awards of up to the average tuition and fee rate established for students attending a Regent university for the award year or the amount of tuition and fees paid by students, whichever is less. Students need to have a 2.5 GPA or higher to qualify and must complete the FAFSA. For more information, please visit the Iowa College Student Aid Commission web site.
