Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) for College
The Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) is a federal program that is available only to students who are eligible for the Pell Grant. The student must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled full-time in their first or second year of undergraduate study in a degree program. The Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant provides $750 for the first year of study and $1,300 for the second year. If the student is a second year student, they must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for their first year of undergraduate study.
