Academic Competitiveness (AC) Grant Program

The Academic Competitiveness Grant Program is a federal grant program that is available to students who qualify for the federal pell grant and are academically competitive.  In order to be eligible for the Academic Competitiveness (AC) Grant Program a student must fit the following criteria:

  • The student must be a U.S. citizen
  • The student must be a Federal Pell Grant recipient
  • The student must be enrolled at least half-time in a degree program
  • The student must be a first or second year student in an undergraduate program
  • The student must have completed a rigorous secondary education program of study
  • The student must have at least a 3.0 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale
